Numerous manufacturing, industrial, and processing entities in New Zealand bear the responsibility of monitoring their environmental impact. Those situated in urban areas often dispose of liquid waste into wastewater systems regulated by municipal authorities, while others operate under a Resource Consent granted by the nearby Regional Council.

IVS Labs are Australasia’s leading timber preservative testing body, accredited by IANZ. Expansion of the lab services now include assisting our clients test and understand the environmental impacts of the service they provide. IVS Labs have developed and accredited a new range of environmental water and soil testing specially designed for the Timber industry. 

We are experts in timber treatment testing, making IVS Labs the best placed to offer this novel service within the industry our clients are involved.

Sampling Programs

Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP)

IVS Labs have designed and implemented a fully integrated Environmental Monitoring Program designed to remove the ‘middleman’.  The IVS Labs EMP incorporates sample scheduling, sampling, testing and reporting. 

 

Programs include our EMP (or part thereof), Self-sampling and dispatch or Consultant Sampling and dispatch. 

Water samples include Ground Water, Storm Water and Trade Water. We are unable to analyse Trade Effluents. 

 

Other Sampling Programs

Self-Sampling

• IVS will provide sampling kits to clients based on need and tests required

• Dispatch samples to IVS Labs using well-established courier network contracts
• Receive samples at IVS Labs, perform appropriate tests and provide an analytical report.

Optional Benefits:

• Provide Compliance Report against Clients own Resource Consent requirements
• Submit reports to Council of behalf Client
• Provide Consultancy options to help remedy Trigger actions.

Consultant Sampling

• Dispatch samples to IVS Labs using well-established courier network contracts
• Receive samples at IVS Labs, perform appropriate tests and provide an analytical report to your Consultant.
